Positive View Supported by The Royal Photographic Society

The Royal Photographic Society has agreed to support the Positive View Foundation. This is a great honour for Positive View and reflects the position of the RPS within photography and the power of photography to create social change.

This is a great honour for Positive View and reflects the position of the RPS within photography and the power of photography to create social change”.

Mike Taylor, COO of the RPS says: “Our support of Positive View is a way of demonstrating our view that photography can be used for the public benefit. In this case, taking photography into the community as a tool to successfully transform the lives of disadvantaged young people.”

A number of RPS members have already become Positive View Ambassadors, acting as philanthropic photography tutors to the young people attending Positive View’s innovative ‘Youth Empowerment Programme’ – including; Susan Derges Hon FRPS, Martin Parr Hon FRPS, Simon Roberts Hon FRPS, John Swannell Hon FRPS, and Tessa Traeger FRPS.
