We know that a structured personal development programme using photography can create real change for disadvantaged young people – empowering them to acquire new skills whilst developing self-confidence and self-belief. The Positive View Education Programme is unique in supporting some of London's most disadvantaged young people in this way – creating positive futures for them, most especially those living on our most heavily deprived inner-city estates.
We stage important international exhibitions of contemporary photography which is committed to making photography relevant and accessible to all sectors of the community – from diverse educational, social, economic and cultural backgrounds. Crucially, each exhibition offers an extensive range of free educational activities, including talks, discussions, tours and workshops.
Our values ensure that our approaches are consistent with who we are and how we want to be viewed by others. We aim to be: pioneering, significant, celebrated, effective, life-changing, transparent and accountable.
